Q2 celebration: team bowling night at Bowl & Barrel

Our team had a blast bowling last night at Bowl & Barrel to celebrate a strong Q2.

Nothing brings a team together quite like a little friendly competition — and a few rounds of mid-week bowling between full days of grading plans, permit reviews, and construction calls.

We don't talk about scores. (We're engineers — there were charts.) What we will say is that the team came together for a great evening of food, drinks, and the kind of casual conversation that doesn't fit between meetings during a busy quarter.

Quarterly team outings like this are part of how Southland operates. Engineering deadlines are real, but so is the team that hits them. Investing in that team — even in small ways like a Tuesday-night bowling alley — is part of the job.
